I’ve been fortunate enough to see many beautiful things and places around the world, but nothing ever like this.
Here is a 30 sec time-lapse covering approximately 6 hours of sunset to sunrise at Monument Valley, AZ (little over 800 photos).
What made this so amazing was the lighting storm in the far-left distance that took place for about 2 hours, creating a strobe light show (as you can see in the time lapse) all night.
All this while the milky way was fully visible overhead. Unfortunately, my lens wasn’t wide enough to capture the milky way that was visible that night.
